Greyton Primary inter schools was held this Saturday the 09th September 2012 in wet and cold weather. This annual event is held between Greyton, Genadendal, Bereaville Riviersondereinde and ST Pauls Primary from George. It consists of each school entering four rugby, three soccer and four netball teams all competing in a round robin competition for the top honors. The tough cold conditions seemed to have no effect on the overwhelming enthusiasm of the learners and teachers alike.

Greyton Primary has been meeting the primary education needs of Heuwelkroon and Boesmanskloof for the past 40 years. It has 320 learners and is located on a hill overlooking Greyton. The school enjoys good community support and parent involvement is clearly visible at many levels.

Like many schools in the Overberg funding is always a problem and the smallest gestures go a long way. Pam Golding Greyton was privileged to assists participating teams with new rugby, soccer and water bottles for the event and looks forward to further involvement.
